Baltrotors – a modern and experienced company.
Baltrotors Ltd was founded in 1996 and is situated in the proximity of Riga – in Salaspils. Baltrotors started off producing vane type GR and HR rotators for wood machinery: in the beginning, it produced small rotators oriented at 1-4 tonnes. The company grew, gradually increasing the product range and entering new markets. At present, the company offers around 80 different models: GR-type rotators 1 – 16 t grapple rotators; HR-type rotators 6 – 16 t harvester rotators; GIR and CPR-type industrial rotators 5 – 25 t, as well as suspensions links and hooks. Baltrotors is the owner of 10 patents, 3 of them in the broad European market. At present, Baltrotors has become one of the most modern metal-processing companies in the Baltic region. High precision CNC machinery is used in manufacturing and the company employs around 100 people. Although the majority of the manufacturing processes are automated, the rotators are mounted using manual work, and each completed unit of production is meticulously tested. The company has introduced the ISO 9001:2000 quality standards in its business activities. 98% of the goods produced by Baltrotors are exported to more than 45 countries. Managers of the company speak English, German, French, Russian and Latvian. In the current situation, when it is important for companies throughout the world to cut costs and maintain high quality, cooperation with Baltrotors is the right choice, as the company offers both mobility and excellent after-sale service and innovative solutions – high-quality goods for affordable price.

GIR and CPR industrial, piston motor type rotators are designed for severe work conditions and under high pressure. The new construction enables the rotator to stop very fast, very precise, without slipping. The oil temperature does not affect operation of a rotator of this type. Rotators have special overflow valves that allow the rotator to slip in emergency cases in situations when shutdown is so abrupt that the inertia can possibly damage the entire machine. GIR and CPR rotators are equipped with safety valves, to ensure drainage, which eliminates increased pressure in the motor frame.

High torque was achieved by increasing the surface of the piston and designing pistons of uncommon form – edgy, which ensures sufficient torsional moment and is equivalent to vane rotators in terms of power. The pistons have been equipped with specially manufactured self-regulating sealing, which has substantially increased the resistance of moving parts against wear.
